DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WINNER AND A LOSER

When a winner makes a mistake, he says "I was wrong".
When a loser makes a mistake, he says "it wasn’t my fault".

A winner words harder than a loser and has more time.
A loser is always too busy to do what is necessary.

A winner goes through a problem.
A loser goes around it and never gets pass it.

A winner makes commitments.
A loser makes promises.

A winner says “I’m good but not as good as I ought to be"
A loser says “I’m not as bad as a lot of other people"

A winner feels responsible for more than his job.
A loser says “i only work here."

A winner says "there ought to be a better way to do it".
A loser says “that’s the way it’s always been done here"

Time brings out the worst in all,
the clock ticks the seconds away.

Time never seems to slow down,
or in that case never seems to stay.

Sitting in my bed one night,
i couldn't seem to sleep.

For there was something on my mind
something i could never keep.

I wish time could stop for a while,
so i could figure things out.

Was chatting with Jessica, my ex-colleague.

She was looking at this website – Hello Kitty Hell.

And guess what?

Hello kitty is turning attention to young men.

Men with hello kitty tattoos, shirts etc.

School is going to start tomorrow.

Oh. 2 weeks is kind of short.

Can’t stay at home and sleep till ten-thirty where I usually do during holidays.

My whole mentality has to shift back into school mode.

Last post of 2007 
 

Just a flip of the eyes and it's nearing the end of Year 2007.
Time really flies.
Things just happen so fast this year that I don't have a good memory of it.
Need to do an account of my achievement and failure soon.
And to reflect on all the lapses that I had missed out.

But I must say time really wait for no man.
It's already near the last month of the year.
What's next?
It'll be a new year soon.
Must catch hold of the New Year to start everything afresh.
Wishing a good turnout for next year.

Had a wonderful day with Susan and Herman.

They are my primary school ex- classmates. Same class during Primary 5.

And I never saw Herman for ages.

Actually we asked more people, but end up they “放鸽子”。

Especially that Mervin Ng!

Anyway, we went to Vivo and had our dinner over there.

We crap here and there, talking about the past and some amusing incidents.

We all still remembered Mr Seow and one Chinese female teacher. Can’t recall her name.

After that we went Mini Toons.

Woohoo.. They are having 30% discount.

HERMAN TEO was super generous.

He wanted us to choose a x’mas present and he will pay for it.
We spend 15mins looking for what we want.

Then I choose 2 tortoises. Female & male.

The small one is a speaker but don’t know whether it works or not.
Susan bought a tortoise too.. And a Xiao Ding Dang.
The bill ended up $31.10. 
I exceed his budget. But he said never mind.

THANK YOU HERMAN!

After paying, we went Starbucks.
We gave him a treat. 
And we was talking and laughing all the way, like nobody’s business. :P
And guess who we saw? NICOLE!! Primary school ex-classmates too..

Susan: Hey, that gal look like Nicole..
Me: Oh.. It’s Nicole la..
Susan: But don’t look like her leh.
Me: It’s her. I go call her.

She didn’t responds. And I called the 2^nd time.
Great! She responded.
I was right!
We talked to her for a while. And found out that she was re-taking her O’s this year.
After conversation, we leave vivo.
Actually we wanted to take bus. But Susan guessed out Herman wanted to take cab..
End up we took cab.
Crazy eh? Only a few bus stops, still take cab? LOL..
Then the cab dropped us at blk 72, Herman’s house.
After that, he went home first.
Then Susan and I keep on chatting until 10plus before all went home.

Alicia, Rui Ping and I meet up again.

We went to Orchard and it is always filled with people.

Especially now is X’mas, it is worsen.

You can see everywhere are having “SALE, SALE, and SALE”.

Anyway, we don’t find anything we like and that’s why we are not tempted.

But we still bought something.

I bought a necklace. And all bought tidbits from Marks & Spencer.

This time we “played” at the fitting room in Marks & Spencer.

Alicia & Rui Ping tried a dress while I tried a pink shirt.

Before that, we were at TAKA.

Buying some stuffs to “store” in our stomach.

 Then continue our shopping.

During evening, we were discussing about where to have our dinner.

I think we spend about 10mins discussing that.

After that we decided to go Plaza Singapura.

We ate at “Just Acia”. A small restaurant that I never been before.

It is located inside Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Foods over that is average, except the curry is salty.

But they provide free flow of drinks and ice-cream. 
So out of 5 stars, i give 3 stars. Hahaha.
Reached home at 11pm. 
Oh thanks Alicia for ur early x'mas gift.

This time i didn't took much photos because my handphone is in low battery.

I don’t know why I am feeling so restless now.

So many things are needed to complete and Common Test is approaching in a week time.
And I just don’t have the mood to do anything.

ARRRRRRRRRGH… I can’t stay like this!!

Give me strength!!!

Oh someone sent me this to relieve stress. But i didn't try out.
You may try if you think it works.

Yesterday was out the whole day with Alicia, Rui Ping and Edwin to celebrate his belated birthday. Meet them at bus stop in front of Suntec convention centre at 12plus. Den we went to Yukiyaki at Marina Square. We ate lots over there. It is much better than Seoul Garden. More variety of foods, also the BBQ and soup is separately. But we wasted lots of food. Not mine fault, is Alicia. She made the whole plate of prawns, chickens etc all “Cao Da”. Haha.

Edwin ate very little. Saw him ate fish balls, some meat only. Edwin u wanna lose weight ar? Haha. Later we get some eggs and he went to “torture” the eggs. I won’t emphasis anymore. Basically he was like venting his frustration on the eggs or what. And by the way it was the 1^st time that he went out with us. He went off at 3pm after taking photos with us and he didn’t get to eat the ice-cream. Talking about ice-cream, it’s really very very tiring. It’s fry ice-cream. My 1^st time trying it and made my hands felt so “suan”. But overall is not bad. The taste is different from others and it is not so sweet.

Around 5plus, we left Yukiyaki. We went to walk around Marina Square. Rui Ping & I bought few earrings and then keep looking and walking all the way to Suntec. We three of us bought a hand brackets over there. Rui Ping wishes to buy heels and she & Alicia was trying many heels on the way. But too bad, they didn’t find any suitable ones. Then we went to Carrefour. We had a fun time over there. Because we were all playing with the hairbands, sunglasses, necklaces etc.. Luckily there was no one looking. After playing, we walk passed the counter. The male cashier saw us walking towards him and was preparing to do cashing for us. This is the funniest part as we didn’t buy anything. So we act innocent and passed his counter. When I looked back, he was smiling to himself. Haha. 

After that at around 9plus, Alicia said she wants to buy donuts and we went to DonutFactory. The queue was not long. The lady told us that she can’t guarantee us that we will get our donuts as the stocks may not be enough. But luckily we did get our share during our turn. But some peoples queuing behind us didn’t get to buy it.

After we got the donuts, they sent me to the bus stop. Took bus 97 and reached home at 10plus. I was so tired that I went to zZZ after taking my bath.

True Friendship Is Rare?

In social exchanges friendship is a matter of convenience. 

It is said that it takes both an enemy and a friend, working together, to hurt you to the core -- the one to slander you and the other to bring the news to you. Most so-called friends are fair-weather friends; when you have good times you have many such friends to flatter and cheer you, but in bad times you have none at all. Some so-called friends dominate you, exploit you, manipulate you, and some cling to and use you. It is not so easy to find a true friend. 

The reality of the everyday world is not what we think or imagine it to be. Human nature is changeful and frivolous, and human greed seems to have no limit. Self-interest is pervasive and human ingratitude endemic. The lips that praise you today may curse you tomorrow. The heart that is full of love now may become full of jealousy later.

But I’m glad that that I do have some true friends around me.

I was being dragged to the salon.

This time I didn’t mention what hairstyle I want. The hairstylist just “anyhow” and do the hairstyle for me.

50% of hair is gone.. Head is feeling much lighter now.
